Response Rate
This is the indicator that shows how many % of the messages you replied within 24 hrs. They are calculating your replies to the first message from your buyer. (Anyway, just replying first message from the buyer and ignore following messages is not a good habit.) Fiver automatically excludes spam messages this count. If you receive any spam message report it right away.
There are some difficulties to reply each and every message within one day. Let's discuss them one by one.
- I'm too busy with orders. I would prefer to work on them.
- Use Quick Response Feature. You can use standard quick responses, providing by fiverr or design your own.
- Pause your Gig for a day or two. Use vacation mode to pause your gigs and select "I'm Overbooked" as the reason.
- I receive many messages which are not related to my gigs.
You receive this kind of messages because potential buyers thinking that your gigs relate to their requirement. Ignoring these messages will cause to lose your potential sale in the future. Use Quick Response Feature and add a simple message stating that you are not providing the service requested.
- I'm out of my computer
- Install fiverr mobile app to your mobile phone / tablet. This allows you to get instant alerts when you receive messages and reply on the go.
- Pause your Gig for a day or two. Use vacation mode to pause your gigs and select "I'm In a Vacation" as the reason.
Note: - Please use Vacation mode carefully. It may take a few days to back normal after a vacation mode. Anyway, it is not a disaster and I always prefer to use Vacation Mode instead of having a reduced response rate.
